Why we pray?

 

Let me start this with a question, why we pray? 

Is it because we want it or because it is just necessary?

We always face a lot of problems everyday. Some of us tend to let these problems pass by but most of us are really bothered about it. So, we pray. We pray because we need His help. But when we do not have any problem, we forget to thank Him for all the blessings. I, personally can't denies the fact that the nature of human is we only pray whenever we were worried about something or we have a big problem that we can't find any solution for it. We forget that praying was not made just for us to tell our problems to God but to express our gratitude for all the blessings that He is giving us each and everyday.

As a person we must learn how to pray to thank God for everything, in every single thing that we receive, we must not forget that its His blessing to us. I believe that praying is not necessary but an obligation. I more likely to say that we are obliged to pray because He is our creator Who gave us chance to live and enjoy it to the fullest.

Lastly, I want to repeat my question. Why we pray? Is it because we want it or it is just necessary?
